Anxiously Missing Him

Well, we have now been in Payson for over 3 months, and everyone is well adjusted. The children have done so much better than I ever expected... I guess Im the one having difficulties. I am missing my routine, my friends, and of course my hub! I hate to gush over my missing him when I am able to talk with him, and skype on almost a daily basis. That is SO much more than other military spouses! And now I am ANXIOUS!!! He will be here in 25 DAYS!! And I feel bad for being excited over that too! He will come home for longer than a deployed soldier, and will return to a safe room of his own! Im sharing this because I knew YALL would understand! I have also been going to the gym 3-5 days a week, and TRYING to be more conscious with my eating! I am an emotional, bored, whatever eater, and that causes a lot of problems! I need to eat more for fuel and health than Fun, although I need to keep the fun in there... Anyway what I’m trying to say is, there has been a change, and good change in my body, and with a month to go till I see my man, I am dedicated to rocking it out at the gym and kitchen! I want him to SEE my dedication!! Guess maybe I should have names this post CHANGES, because the body is not the only thing I have been working on. My sister Chela has helped me MAJORLY in the clutter/cleaning/organizing department! And this is huge for me in SO many ways! Y is a cleaner, and I’m a piler... :). It feels good to have made a SHIFT in my mind set to WANT to be organized, and fresh... We have a FHE with the children about how are homes can be a temple and that really touched me! Children are so in tune to the spirit of things, and I want to be the example of GOOD... no, of BEST for them!! All of these changes... all of this growth in myself, in my strengths, and in my faith make me AXIOUSLY MISS and ANXIOUSLY await Yoshigos visit!!! Eeeeeekkkkkkkkk!

From An Ending To A Beginning

How fast life rolls on. Yoshigo has now been gone for 2 months, and the children are starting a new school year. Lanycia will be starting 2nd grade at Wilson Elementary and will also be starting soccer the same week. She is very excited for both. We don’t know who her teacher is yet, but that’s not stopping her excitement. Although there are no state pre-schools here in UT, we found an awesome private preschool for Lavieon to attend. He will be in kinder-Prep in the mornings, three days a week. He is very excited. He already has homework that he has to return on the first day of school. I pray that he will have a great learning experience that will advance him and not just occupy his time. He will also be playing soccer this year! He thinks that shin guards are the best thing ever invented and chooses to wear them everywhere!! I’m still adjusting. I was so worried about my children, and how they would handle the move, but I think I am having the hardest time. I miss my friends... which I find strange because I am surrounded by family. But when you are so far away for so long, friendship is what sustains you. I miss that! We have already taken the time to venture out; we went up Payson Canyon and hiked to the grotto. My cousin Kurt took the children to Sliding Rock in Alpine, and we’ve gone to visit the Provo and Manti temples! It has been fun and I look forward to more adventures to come!

And The World Keeps Turning

The children are out of school, the house has been all packed up and everything non-essential has been shipped. The Utah house security deposit has been paid, and all the final notices for this home have been place. Tweleve days away from Yoshigo leaving to Korea for a year, and it had JUST NOW hit me! He IS leaving! But thank the Lord he will not be in a hazardous country!!!! Right... I think there is always a calm before the storm, where attitudes subside, arguments decrease, and everyone just feels the love before the soldier leaves. But that almost makes it worse... It seems everything is so perfect and happy and now it will all have to be up-heaved!! But then my mind focuses on the upcoming events. Living close to my family, able to see my nephew, snow events, temple often, my small little house, learning spanish (Our goal for the year), and the life adjustment without the Daddy in the home. My intention is to blog through out the year so keep checking back. Beginning to be sad/excited... which is so confusing, Annie

Day 3, Bad Habits...

A habit that I have, which I am very conscience about is the fact that I repeat myself... When I’m giving information, or trying to explain something... I hate it! Why can’t I just say something once, then the receiver of information can do what they want with it. If they need more info, they can just ask! I hate that I do that!!!!!!!
